Q: Toyota camry….!?!?!?!?!?
I am kind of short and I know the camry is a bigger car. I am 16. Still a good car?
I think I could drive it (I have learned to drive on two big suvs- suburban and envoy) but is it too big to own?
but it is still a bigger car

A: I’ve driven a couple of toyotas they aren’t the luxurious ones out there compared to BMW or other brands but its a pretty reliable, safe, efficient, and affordable car. I think the safest thing to do is check if your car is under the recall, as there was a big thing couple months ago about car not being able to stop. Not that i’m discouraging you to buy this vehicle, just get it fixed and corrected if it falls into that category and it is still a great car.

Q: tips for driving my toyota camry on the beach?
Hi. Im planning on going to the brsxh in thr next few months. The one im going to is one of the few where you can freely drive on it.

Well, my friends and i have our little favorite spot on the beach thats about a mile down once you get through the entrance onto the beach.

Do yall have any good and safe driving tips for driving my 2001 4-cylinder toyota camry on that 1 mile stretch?

A: this advice may seem obvious but it’s always worth reminding people who want to do this sort of thing…. “EASY ON THE GAS!!!” obviously, press too hard and you’re not going anywhere but down. And if you feel you’re accelerating and nothing is happening, then let up on the gas or you’ll find yourself in a hole!

Also, take into consideration the ride height of your vehicle- if it’s too low then you’ll be scooping up sand with your front bumper and eventually it’ll break the plastic and stop you dead in your tracks. because of this, also watch out for the sand elevation.

and make sure you have the proper paperwork before trying this- most places (at least around here) you need a permit to do that and they’ll inspect your vehicle to make sure it’s ok to go on the beach. And keep off the dunes or they’ll revoke the permit and you may even get strikes on your licence (happened to a friend of mine)

Q: How much could I sell my 1995 Toyota Camry for?
I have a 1995 Toyota Camry that needs a head gasket repair and I’ve decided to just get something else because the repairs are so expensive. There is nothing else wrong with the car, how much do you think I could sell it for in NC?

A: Head gasket repairs very often cost over a thousand dollars to repair. Most people wont even consider buying a car with a blown head gasket. You might be lucky to get 500 bucks

Q: What oil is better for my 1999 toyota v6 camry?
I have a 1999 toyota camry v6 the mileage on it is 130,000. Would conventional or synthetic be better i only drive about 30 miles weekly and I drive home from college which is about 300 miles.

A: I have 1998 corolla with over 300,000 miles on it and I have used walmarts super tech oil 5w-30 since I bought. My previous corolla had almost the same mileage with the same oil before it was totaled in a wreck. The trick is to keep it changed regularly.

Q: How to change a light on a 2001 Toyota Camry?
I have a 2001 Toyota Camry and the light on the back dashboard (?) went out. I have a lightbulb to replace it with, but I’m nor sure how to. Please help.
Thanks!

A: are you talking about a light in the dash? That could be tricky to replace. Probably have to start by removing the dash pad or panel on top then you may be able to access the instrument cluster lights. It could be different on some cars, but I think most would be accessible this way. If you’re not good with doing things like this, it might be better left to someone who is…

Q: How do I turn off the alarm on my 2004 toyota camry?
The car alarm on my just purchased but used 2004 Toyota Camry goes off if I try to unlock the car with a key instead of the remote. Is there a way to disable the alarm without going to a mechanic? Also, is it possible to make the car not honk when I lock or unlock the car? It honks twice every time I unlock it which seems mighty unnecessary…

A: just hit the unlock button on your remote twice to unarm it, but why would you want to use a key to unlock it to begin with when you have a remote?

and nope, there is no way to disable the honk. It’s just an indicator that the car is locked/unlocked. Since it’s an old 2004 model, you just have to live with it..

On the new cars that come with smart key entry, those cars do an electronic “beep beep” when you unlock and “beep” when you lock, which is much quieter and less disturbing. The horn only sounds when alarm is going off on those cars.

Q: What spark plug is good for a 98 V4 Toyota Camry?
Do anyone noe what is the size i need to buy for the 98 V4 Toyota Camry spark plug?

PS: i need performance.

A: Its best to stay with the factory recommended designed for the vehicle when you change a name type but stay within factory specification you will be fine , but when you change the recommended heat range for that motor is when you will get into trouble, the spark plug will flash igniting the fuel vapor and cause an explosion, in the designated cylinder and all they do is spark and buy changing to different type all you will get is a spark same so save your money and keep it stock, a engineer who know a great deal about motors designed the type for that motor so to want to change it is ignorance, don’t take that personal just saying they do what they do cause they know best, enough that Toyota puts there name on it, and trust me Toyota knows best for your motor than you and I

Q: how can I fix a 2005 toyota camry LE tail light that has condensation in the lens?
how can I fix a 2005 toyota camry with a right tail light that has condensation in the lens, do I need to replace the entire tail light housing or can it be taken apart and dried out and put back in? and if so which repair manual would be best to help me acomplish this?

A: take the lens out, it will have a couple of holes for the lights to go into some people tell you to bake them, this is not right it will mess up your lights, you will need to use a blow dryer into your holes and it will take the condensation out. after that look into resealing the outside you can do this with silicone easily. Q: When will the 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid be released?
I been waiting on the 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid because I was hoping for it to have better MPG, but more important, I would hope it to have better crash test ratings that have at the very least of 4 stars. 2-3 star crash ratings are not acceptable for me. Also, I am hoping they will make a great refresh for the 2012 Toyota Camry. So does anybody know when the 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid will be released?

A: Not till 2013. it’s gonna take ‘em that long to work out all the problems.

Q: 1998 toyota camry and whenever I make a right turn there’s a dash light that comeson during the turnwhat is it
its 1998 toyota camry and when ever I make a right turn there is a red dash light that comes on only when I turn right. What is this warning light???? Is it important??

A: I’m going to guess it’s your brake warning light. You don’t mention what sign there is on the light. Check your brake fluid to see if it’s low and fill it to the top of the MAX line on the reservoir and see if that solves your problem.

Q: What is the general cost of replacing a heater core in a 1990 Toyota Camry DX?
Apparently the heater core in my 1990 Toyota Camry has given up the ghost. (At over 230K miles, no wonder!). However, the CV joint on my car has also started to give up the ghost. What I would like to know is, how much in general am I looking at when considering replacing a heater core, and which repair should I concentrate more on–the heater core or the CV joint?

A: Based on the vehicle being equipped with air conditioning then about $550.00. this estimate is based on $79.00 per hour labor, a napa heater core, and one gallon of green antifreeze. To help you get a better idea of cost for your area the labor time based on Mitchell’s time and labor guide is 5 hours if the vehicle is equipped with air conditioning or 3.9 hours without. Find out the labor rate of the shop you’re going to take it to and you will get a better idea. If you are replacing the heater core it would be wise to have the coolant system flushed too.
The c.v. axle or the heater core? well depends on the leakage from the core. If leaking a lot then do the cooling system first because if you overheat you have a chance of damaging the engine. If the core is a minor leak and you can top of your coolant occasionally then do the axle. If the axle fails it could leave you stranded.

Q: Do I need brake pads and rotors for my 1995 Toyota Camry or does it sound like more?
I have a ‘95 Toyota Camry and I notice when I mash the brake pedal, I can feel shaking and vibrating in the pedal. I also have to mash the brake pedal all the way down to the floor in order for the car to stop. I believe I need new rotors and brake pads on the front. What do you think it is?

A: that would be your rotors being bent or warped. so get new rotors. and sence you would be down there you might as well do the pads because they are probably worn out to
