Q: When is a new Toyota Camry body style expected to be released?
A: When they can get more Americans to be able to buy it with our bankrupt economy and support their country some more!
Q: Do you like the new Toyota Camry look?
I mean the front look, head lights, and rear brake lights aestethics.
A: not really, I liked the designs of the older Camry’s alot more
Q: I purchased a new 2010 Toyota Camry SE monday jan 25th. Now the sale of this car is suspended. what do i do ?
When buying my new Toyota I asked about the gas pedal problems and was told it was no major concern. It seems it was a big enough concern to halt the selling of this car.
A: It is a very big concern and it is not the floor-mat causing the problem. Check out:
http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/RunawayToyotas/toyota-suspends-sales-models-accelerator-pedals-sticking/story?id=9669621
You’ll find lots of information…including a story of four people killed when the car accelerated and the floor mat was found in the trunk (exactly where Toyota instructed owners to put them in a letter).
Makes me sick that I’m driving a brand new 2010 Camry XLE. How many people are going to have to die before Toyota takes preventive measures to protect owner’s of the cars being effected by the acceleration problem? Toyota should require every effected model be returned to a Toyota dealership and owner’s be temporarily put in a vehicle that is safe until the exact cause is determined and a solution implemented.
Q: Do the new Toyota Camry’s still have transmission problems?
A: I did not know the old Camry’s had transmission problems..
I have a 1997 with 150,000 trouble free miles on it…
Q: I am planning to buy a new toyota camry hybrid. Is it a good investment from financial stand point?
A: Absolutely it is! Take some time to research this for awhile. Most of these answers are hogwash, and non of the important issues have been mentioned. One of the first issues is the batteries, non of them have gone bad from being worn out. They have been driving these cars in Japan since 1997 and there have only been a handful of failures caused from dammaged terminals, probably from human error.Toyota engineers estimate 15 years on the batteries.Say you bought a monte carlo for 25,000. and a camry H for the same 25,000. One year later the monte would be worth maybe 16,000.if you had to sell it and the camry would be worth 24,000.If this car is anything like the prius they sell them on the lots used with 15,000 miles for the price of a new one.So your depreation is going to be in neutral. These cars pollute about one tenth what a standard V six does so there is another possitive. Now figure your gas savings at 3 bucks a gallon over what you are driving and what you would buy instead of a camry.Figure your 2000.dollar dirrect off your tax credit. Now here is a big one that nobody talks about, the life of your car,yes you could be buying a car that could easily reach 4 to 5 hundredthousand miles. These cars have such high tech engines and motors that the combined use effectively could give you 500,000 miles or more.Toyota wants to make this technology the propultion of the future and are subsidizing the prius to the tune of about 10,000.dollars.I could go on and on but you need to research this for yourself and you will see. There are many good honest sites that owners of these things tell you all the value in these cars and what a bargan they are, these are concept cars that you and I can buy and drive now. They are a good investment and i would`nt wait bacause there will be a 1 year list as soon as there is one disaster. I have bought 3 toyota hybrids in the last year and i absolutely love them! Good Luck!
Q: I’m thinking about buying a new toyota camry HELP!?
I want to buy a used toyota camry maybe 2002 or newer but my questions are how many miles is too many miles for that kind of car and year and how many miles can you drive on a toyota before its time to buy a new car. This car will be for school and internship purposes only and will probably buy a new car when I finish my masters in 3 years. PLEASE HELP!
A: A Camry can go 300,000 miles or more easily if taken care of.
The more miles a car has the cheaper the price…. so really there’s no such thing as “too many miles”.
People usually average 15,000 miles per year. So that’s usually a good starting point.
Q: Which car has better styling? the all new 2008 Toyota Camry or the 2008 Nissan Altima?
which car styling do u like better? alot of people i hear are talking about how sharp the new camry looks. and i also hear other people talk about how sharp the altima looks also, plus people are also talking about the new altima coupe. but between the Altima and the Camry which one has a better look?
A: I just took a look at both of them now (for the first time). You can definitely see a lot of the G35 in the new Altima. In fact some are even calling it the ‘poor man’s G35′. It looks sleek, curvy and fast.
The new Camry obviously has had a few curves put into it as well but (to me anyway) it still seems like a large, bulky family sedan with just a redesigned front/back end. In other words, it doesn’t seem to flow quite as nicely as the Altima.
I guess it all depends upon one’s personal taste (and perhaps the price of both of these cars too – I haven’t checked out the pricing yet). I see the Camry as still staying the ‘family’ car though. And, those who choose the Altima will probably be interested in a car that can actually do something for them. The Altima seems to have evolved from a ‘family’ car into something a bit better then that, even though you could still haul the family around in it.
Q: where could I find a brand new 1996 Toyota Camry engine?
Could anyone tell me where could I find a brand new 1996 Toyota Camry engine and how much it cost?
Thanks
A: Try the Toyota Dealer. I guess it will cost you like $5000.
Try what people are suggesting. A rebuilt or reconditioned engine will cost half that much from the Toyota Dealer. A rebuilt or reconditioned engine, will have the warranty from Toyota. Although it is costly, you can also buy a brand new car. You can also buy a similar make, model, year of the car. Either way, the decision is yours.
Q: HELP NEW Toyota Camry Back Windows Won’t Go Down.?
I have a new toyota camry and only the back windows won’t go down. Driver and passenger in front work. Each window has its own fuse. Driver Window has a 30AMP and the other three have 20amp fuses. All fuses are GOOD!!! Tried the lock switch, no luck. I also used the drivers switch and each switch in the back but no luck. This car is new and I never use the back windows. Any ideas will help.
A: I will take it back to the dealer.
Q: Bike rack for new toyota camry?
I want to get a bike rack for two bikes for my car. My car is new and I don’t have a bike yet. I also would like to know a decent priced bike for a beginner. I’ve always known how to ride a bike but just want something conservative to go riding in parks and the like.
I want a bike rack that won’t scratch my car.
A: If you want a roof rack, www.yakima.com and www.thule.com and go thru with your car and it will tell you what you need. The racks have a plastic padding thing on the bottom, so the only scratches you will get will be from errors putting your bike on and off.
If you want a trunk rack, saris makes some good ones. Advantage is easier removal from car, but are less secure from thieves. Also, these are definitely the cheapest option.
3rd option is have a hitch installed on your car, should be maybe $2-300, then add in a rack on top of this. This option can be secure and the rack prices really aren’t bad once you’ve covered the hitch installation.
Go to www.mtbr.com and under reviews, scroll down to racks for reviews.
If you want a decent beginner bikes, go to your local bike shops and ride as many as you can. If you want a mtn or road bike, a decent, better quality one that’ll last can be had for around $6-800 and cheaper ones (weigh more, less durable equipment, but will work fine for normal use) for $3-500. They should be clearing out the 07’s to make room for the 08’s, so now is a good time to shop. Also, some local bike shops carry second hand bikes that you can get a good price on a quality used one. Just figure out how much you are willing to spend before you go.
Q: My 1998 Toyota Camry needs a new catalytic converter. How long can I drive it before it becomes a serious prob?
I have a 1998 Camry V6 and the check engine light just came on. The car needs a new catalytic converter. I just want to drive it for another year and then get a new car. Will any serious problems arise if I keep driving it without replacing the catalytic converter?
A: Depends on if its clogged or not, but with the engine light on you will not get an inspection sticker in any state. So if you don’t want to fix it then you may want to consider a different car sooner.
Q: how much does a new 96 toyota camry motor cost?
how much should i sell my 1996 toyota camry for?

Q: 2008 brand new toyota camry vs. 2005 BMW 325i (used)?
my dad is planning to get me a car and his budget max is 20,000. Hes thinking of getting me a 2008 brand new toyota camry, but i would prefer something else. And I found this 2005 BMW 325i with 25,092 mileage and $21,863. Which one should i get? i want the bmw one, cuz it has more power and stuff, but i dunno if i should go for it.
well i guess the BMW is not worth it. Im thinking about Honda Civic, Honda Accord or Toyota Camry then? i dunno much about cars
A: One major word: WARRANTY. If the Bimmer is a “BMW Certified” vehicle, it’ll be worth a look. However, if not, you’ve lost three years of an already-shrinking warranty period.
The Bimmer may have the cool factor nailed down, but the Camry will be a solid, well-backed car that will give you years of trouble-free service.
Q: Does the New 2008 Toyota Camry have any problems with it?
..maybe with the transmission?
A: Reliability of the V6 dropped to below average and it is not recommended; the four-cylinder and hybrid are above average.
stability control is optional and cost $ should be standard.
Lows: Thigh support for some drivers, no folding rear seat on some trim levels.
outstanding value for the money. It’s worth every penny. For around $19,500 I don’t think you can find a better new car. An almost full-sized car that does everything you want it to. The cost to own should be relatively low. I have traction control (an option) and it’s a big plus. I wish I’d more closely considered the CE and could have saved $2500. The Camry LE combines comfort, reliability, quality, and a refined ride for less money than you’d expect.(2008 Toyota Camry LE 5-Spd AT,by CorCore)
