Q: New Jeep wrangler unlimited and Jeep cherokee sport?
I used to have a 2001 Jeep cherokee sport 4×4, great car, I loved it, anyway, the only thing I hated about this car was that the body was too short making the interior’s floor and roof too close and this was really uncomfortable for me, and my question is if the new 4 door Jeep wrangler has it’s body the same size or is it larger, taller, wider, or longer. This might be a weird observation but I am very detailed person.
A: I just test drove the Wrangler Unlimited 4×4 and it felt more spacious but I only think that was because of the extra interior space. As far as the drivers seat I felt it did have a little more room than a regular Wrangler but not much.

A: You need to shop the newspapers and go around to the dealers and grind them on the price. Don’t be shy and don’t be afraid to make a low ball offer. There are a lot of Jeep Dealers that have lost their franchise and they are desperite to get rid of their inventory. If they have a live buyer standing in front of them with cash in hand they will be motivated to make a deal.

I hate how it’s like a normal car now. The best thing about the jeep wranglers are how you can take the doors off! I don’t get why they’re doing this?
A: Who told you that??? New Wranglers come with a 3 piece hard top or a soft top…or both. Doors also come in half or full (full doors are much more common), and are also removable.
Q: What does everyone think of the new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon?
Looking to purchase a new 2 door wrangler rubicon…anyone have one or have any opinions on them….good or bad……..it supposed to have been much redesigned over the older models…so is it worth the extra to buy the new one or get a couple years older and save a few bucks….pros and cons on it and if anyone has any….. the likes and dislikes please….thanks for all the help…..
A: Depends on the engine…I’ll go to the grave in my ‘95 Cherokee with the 4.0 L in-line six. The v-6’s and Hemi’s aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. But any Wrangler that you can get with the 4.0 will last forever.
Q: What’s the best price anyone has gotten on a brand new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited since Chrysler went bankrupt?
I’m trying to decide if I should buy a brand new one, or if I should still look at a used wrangler that is a year or two old.
A: OK. I answered your question before but didn’t go in to detail about the price. The dealership gave me full kbb RETAIL for my trade in(about 4k more than trade in value for my car according to kbb). They gave me the rebate, and took about 10% off of invoice. It was 2 separate deals in my case so it is kind of hard to tell. In all, I think I ended up saving about 25% off of sticker(about 7-8k). I don’t think they have much room to negotiate If you went for the base model.
You can still get a new jeep for less than someone would owe on a used jeep a year old. And don’t forget the lifetime warranty only applies to original owners. Your best bet would be new.
Q: Does your new Jeep Wrangler hard top leak?
I recently bought a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and the other day when it was raining hard I noticed a couple very slight leaks, both of which were around the a pillars. As I said the leaks were very small, not enough to worry about it damaging anything. I am just wondering if most people have this problem, maybe it just comes with having a removable top….or should I get it looked at. If it’s just a Jeep thing I say cool and won’t worry about it, if it shouldn’t be leaking at all I might just get it looked at.
A: I have a 2007 4 door Sahara with the three piece hard top. It started to to leak right above the rear view mirror… then by the pillars where you are talking about. I then took it into the shop and they told me that there is a recall on the seals. They have fixed the seals and now I have no problems. Good Luck
Q: I’m looking for a wireless security system for my new jeep wrangler?
Does anyone no of such an item as a wirless security system for a vehicle. Im paranoid about tampering w/the wiring harness and having my factory warranty affected. I want a motion sensor so I can feel comfortable when a park and the top is off that no one will be crawling through the jeep trying to steal anything. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

OK, I am sure somebody has. I am looking for experiences on performance and gas mileage.
A: Changing the filter alone won’t help much but I do have a AME Cold Air Intake on my Wrangler and it makes a big difference in power and did help a little with mpg.

i’m thinking of trading my SUV for the new Jeep Wrangler. does anyone have one? are they worth the money or should i keep my chevy equinox?
A: I have the 07 Wrangler Unlimited X (4 door) X is the base model… Ditch the Equinox and by the Jeep! It was the best vehicle I’ve ever bought. You can go from city to trail, and the top comes down relatively easy. I am on the short side, and I do require my husbands assistance to put it back up. Its not hard to do, however I just don’t have the arm length. I can however put it down by myself.Taking off the 4 doors is a little more challenging, but so worth it. You have to experience the freedom, that you just won’t get in the Equinox. It’s definately an adventure.. It’s a little thirsty however… It gets about 16/19 mpg, with the cost of gas nowadays, that may be something you may want to consider. I drop about $55 a week to fill up, and at about $3.08 a gallon.Shop on line at www.jeep.com and make your own, then go to dealerships around your area for the best fit/price. You will not be disappointed. 
And don’t forget to wave to other wrangler owners. We all really do wave at eachother – it’s not just a myth – Good Luck!

A: There is an 800 number to call Sirius. Be prepared to give them your vehicle i.d. (the VIN) and personal info. so they can add you to the system. Once that is done it takes about 1-10 minutes for them to send the activation signal to your radio.
