Q: How do I get turn of the maint req’d light in honda odyssey?
This light used to turn on and blink for a few seconds each time I would turn on my van. Recently the yellow maint req’d light stays on the whole time even when I drive. How do I know whats wrong with my van and how do I turn it off without having to go to the honda dealer.

A: Insert your key in the ignition.
Turn your key in the first position.
The dash warning lights turns on.
Press and hold both the tripA/B and reset buttons for like 10 seconds.

A: If one door or the hood is not locked the the horn will not honk when u hit the button for the second time. Make sure the horn works first. Then hit the lock and unlock button on the remote and look door by door and make sure that u can see each door lock moving up and down. if one does not move u might have a bad lock actuator. Then check the hood latch, there is a switch on this latch. If the vehicle was in a frontal collision or accident or sometimes just by opening and closing to much this switch can go bad. If this latch or any of the door lock actuator does not work the system will not arm. Also check the remote and the battery. If all this is working properly the system should work, if not then u might have a multiplex or a control unit that is not communicating with the system. Hope this helps , Good luck!

A: You probably do not have that feature installed. Just because the factory radio is XM ready does not mean that the antenna and interface has been installed. If it has, it will come up as a source (am/fm/tape/cd/xm). If it is not installed, you will not get the XM source. You can purchase the factory system or an aftermarket system that will work with the factory radio.

A: I could only find the MSRP of $42200. Based on readily available US pricing, the invoice is probably around $37500. I looked at Yahoo Canada (under other yahoo services if it does not automatically come up for you as the Canada sight) and could not get much more than MSRP.
I will advise you on one thing. This car may have run flat tires. They usually only last half as long, and cost upwards of $1200 to replace, if the dealer is even capable of doing it (most shops are not capable of it). Most Honda dealers advise new rims and tires at that time, and that is about $1750+.

A: Pick a color you love. I will tell you that the Dark Cherry Pearl will show more scratches/ swirls, but the Smoky Topaz Metallic will mask them more. I do actually like the Cherry over the Topaz on the Odyssey because it’s more vibrant and colorful. I agree with the white, you can never go wrong with it. Congrats on the new Odyssey!

I want to buy a used Honda Odyssey and I wanted to know if any particular model year was superior over the rest.
A: I have an ‘07 Odyssey EX-L an it’s great! EX-L and up comes standard with VCM cylinder deactivation, all trims have a powerful engine, and everything but the LX has the power sliding doors. I’d say get an ‘06 or ‘07, they worked out most of the bugs after the ‘05 redesign, and I know you can find a great deal on them now! If you can’t afford these, look into an ‘04 Odyssey, they aren’t as “loaded” with features/ options as the new ones, but they still are quality.

Q: Steps to repair the A/C in a 2002 Honda Odyssey?
I have a 2002 Honda Odyssey EX which has worked perfectly until recently. I noticed water was dripping into the cabin mostly on the passenger side and a little on the driver side. I confirmed that it is water and not oil or some other liquid then did some research. I found out that the issue is that the drain vent from my Air Conditioning system is clogged or may have sealed shut during the winter.
Once I removed the glove compartment and opened the air filter on the A/C until, water came pouring out confirming my suspicion. The problem I have is that I don’t know how to get at the drain pipe to clean or replace it. My thought is there should be a way to do this without going under the car but I am not sure.
What I am looking for is a step by step set of instructions on how to remove the bottom part of the passenger side A/C unit and check the drain hose for anything blocking it. Thanks!
A: YOU CAN NOT DOE IT there is a tube under the van that could be blown through to get through from the in side you would have to evacuate the ac system 1.5 hours

A: Sounds like you need a new bumper cover. Around $800 or more including new cover, painting and installation.
