A: something bothers me.. if you just bought a new CTS-V.. why does it have a Hennessey badge.. because i know for a fact the 3 hennessey packages offered for the CTS-V come with badges thay say either V650, V700, or V800.. but no hennessey badge.. also you can’t order these packagest from a dealer you would first have to buy the car then sent it to hennessey.. i was at SEMA.. and got the chance to talk to the guys from HPE.. so i’m pretty much saying BS on your story

It sounds like a Beatles tune. Really. It isn’t Iggy Pop and the commercial is recent to March 2007.
A: You may be talking about “Start,” a hit in England for the group “The Jam” around 1980. I’m in Maryland, but I was a big fan of the group in college in the late ’80s (even though the Jam had already broken up by then). I’m sure you could find the song on a Jam CD on Amazon. The lead singer, Paul Weller, then formed The Style Council and after that has been successful on his own. I’m sure Wikipedia could give you more on The Jam. I was happy to hear a Jam song on TV other than “A Town Called Malice,” which has been in a lot of movies and commercials.

these are GM’s new products for 2008 and beyond.
A: Probably the Malibu and The CTS. The Malibu starts at 19,000 and the CTS at the low 30,000’s. They are both great deals. I will first get the Malibu then in a few years, the CTS. I am a fan of GM, so that is all my family gets.
May be I could trade in my Buick? Nah.
Q: Cadillac CTS having engine problems?
Im looking into buying a new cadillac CTS(03-06) but I heard people are having a lot of major engine problems with them has anyone else heard this about them?
A: I havent heard anything about that.I have an 03 CTS and the only problem I have had is a check engine light from the thermostat which corrected itself somehow. The majority of them are pretty reliable although i have heard about rear differentials going bad, but there is a chance it was the driver and not the car. If u buy one buy an 03. Probably the most reliable ones. comes with the 3.2L which is a very good motor. GM changed the later years, those were probably the ones that had most of the problems all years after that suffered changes. Only problem is Caddi dealers have somewhat stopped selling add-on accesories for 03-07 and are more focused on the new CTS. Also, later models had GM badges put on them.

Which one do you like better and why. Which one will last longer, which company has a better record? For awhile I was stuck on the CTS, but that recent commercial for the MKZ really swayed me.
A: Cadillac just has that appeal to the name. You say you have a Caddy, it means something.

A: Current Ally Bank rates on new Cadillacs range between 1.9% for 36 months and 4.9% for 72 months. Of course there are other lenders with other rates. Depending on your credit score I would say that you could get into one for between 1.5% (good luck finding that) and 18%. Hope you have that 08 DTS paid down because they are only bringing between $18k and $25K depending on miles and trim level.

Q: I have a cadillac 2003 cts. My head gasket is blown. Should I replace it or just get a new motor?
I am getting mixed reviews from different mechanics. Please answer if you really know about cars. Thanks!
A: it depends on whether or not you messed up anything else when it got over heated.. did it spin a bering, how bad was it over heated. i would just put another engine in it, so you will save your self a lot of heart ache later on down the line. i have seen new head gaskets go on cars then a month or two the low end goes out. that is a aluminum engine and when they over heat it can mess up alot more than just a head gasket it can warp the heads and the block
