Q: where in the cadillac cts is the fuel line located?
I have a 06 Cadillac CTS 3.6. Im trying to locate the position of the fuel line. Where is it located?
A: I can’t think of a single good reason you should need to know that. Most likely you are about to do something you shouldn’t be doing especially if you aren’t capable of finding a fuel line on your own.
I will tell you that it has 2 fuel lines one is pressure line to injectors the other is return line back to tank.

I am in the process of buying an 07 CTS.. I’m curious to know typically what I will end up spending on gas per week. This isn’t going to make or break my buy (the car I have now is a guzzler) but for someone who drives typically 40 miles a day (generally less) .. what do you think I will be spending per week in gas?
A: Lets sit down and do the figures by numbers: Lets use 15 mpg for example, take 40 miles per day divide it by 15 mpg= about 2 2/3 gallon a gas aday take the cost of gas at $3.25 per gallon X 2.66 gallon equals about $8.65 per day X 7= $ 60.55 per week X 4 weeks=$242.20 month on gas. These figures vary from city driving to highway driving. Do the same figures above as example with your own mpg divide by mpg. It costs about .52 cents per mile to operate counting tires, insurance, depreciation. 40 miles per day X 30 = 1200 miles per month 1200 miles per month 52 cents a mile equals $624.00 counting everything…
Q: How much would a Cadillac Dealer replace an alternator for in a 2006 Cadillac CTS V?
My car is making a whining noise that gets louder with RPM increase. I believe I narrowed it down to it being the alternator bearings, so I’m assuming they would probably just replace the whole thing. Does anyone know exactly how much they would charge at the dealer total cost to have it replaced for this particular vehicle?

A: The bumper is the entire metal structure of the bumper whereas the cover is the plastic/fiberglass skin that covers it. If the cover broke but there is no damage to the metal portion the cover can be replaced without swapping out the entire bumper.

My friend told me that it could be the oil pump not circulating the oil to the top of the engine. Not sure if he is right though. I also noticed in the garage floor that the car is leaking oil from somewhere.

Q: Power Windows in Cadillac CTS wont go down when passengers try?
The power windows will only go down with the Driver pushes the driver side button. But all passengers can make their window go up. Could this be a bad fuse, or something worse such as bad wiring ?
A: bad switch on the passengers side or you have the lock on,on the drivers side.

It is in excellent condition with only 25k miles on it.
Auto trans, Leather, Sunroof, no navigation, no sport package, but very nice car. Car fax checks out fine. Seller wants 18k, but this seems a little high.

Q: I was told that 42k miles on a 04 CTS cadillac isn’t considered alot is this true?
I have a buddy that works for a cadillac dealership and he told me that the northstar engine is known for lasting almost 200k miles, can anyone give me anymore info on this? i am considering buying a 04 CTS with 42k miles
A: Low mileage on a car does not mean the car is in good condition. If the previous owner drives a lot of short distance and run a lot of errants, braeks and tires may be gone. You need to find out the maintenance history about this car. You may want to take it to your own mechanic to check it out. Yes, a normal mileage on a car is about 12-15k per year. It sounds good without seeing and hearing the engine. If the owner really take care of it, you have gotten a great car. Preventive maintenance and change oil on a factory specified schedule, you should able to enjoy this car for a long time.
Q: How much does it cost to install a pioneer AVIC-D3 in to a 2004 cadillac cts?
I dont want on star nor do I want steering wheel controls. I do want navigation and music. I have the uint new in the box. What eslse do I need and how much would it cost to get it installed. Want to make sure I am not getting ripped off when I go and get it installed. ( I got subs installed and they hooked something up to the back of my stock radio…not sure if that helps).

Q: Can someone tell me how to find the rear under -seat fuse panel on a 2005 Cadillac cts?
The owners manual says it is under the rear seat and should be visable once you remove the rear seat. I removed the rear seat and see no sign of a fuse panel. Help!

A: The CTS is a 4-door sedan, rather than a coupe, FYI. There is no diesel engine option. The 2009 CTS is rated at 26 Hwy/18 Cty at 304 HP. Q: How Do I Remove My Back Seat in 2003 CADILLAC CTS?
I built a box for 3 12 inch subwoofers that i thought would fit for sure,lol.
but, it didnt work out that way.So now I dont want to waste the time and money from building the box, I thought I would remove the back seat and slide it in that way but I cant see any visable way to remove the back seat panel,has any of you done this before?
A: Build another box, or disassemble it and build inside the trunk.
There is a steel wall between the back seat and the trunk which has several electronic modules and body computers mounted to it so removing the seat will get you nowhere.

A: What you can do is tap into the existing sub’s signal.
You should have an existing sub in the back – one 8″ sub….
take the signal and hook it up to your high level input in your new amp [set your amp to high level input]

It’s not wireless. It basically adds an AUX input to any radio.
It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off. It comes with an On/Off switch.
