Q: what type of fuel does a 1991 acura nsx use?
regular, plus, or premium?

A: its best to use unleaded premium (91 octane). Best stations to use would be Shell, 76, or Chevron

Q: What is a good price for a 1991 Acura NSX?

A: depends on lots of factors but I would say maybe around 20 – 30k???

EDIT: LOL $50 and $2000 ahhahahhahahahhaa I dont think so.

Doesn’t matter how old the car is. A 1985 Ferrari Testarossa probably isn’t very cheap even though its 26 years old….. Any year NSX is considered to be a “supercar” class of vehicle….. I wont disagree completely though that it MAY be possible if you are VERY VERY lucky to find an NSX for 15k but thats going to be one with high miles and not in to good of shape. Any decent one would be higher that that.

Paul: Its not about belittling anybody, It’s about getting your facts straight. The age of this vehicle really does not play a part in determining the depreciation of its value. In fact, sometimes, the older a vehicle gets, the MORE valuable it becomes :) wooowww :) :) :)

U mad?

Q: should I sell my 1999 Acura NSX-Targa?
It has 12,000 miles, pristine condition
as a collector should I sell this car? or hold on to it for the value to increase?

A: I would keep it its value will only go up if it becomes an antique classic foreign car.

That’s a cool car i would keep it just because of that fact, but the final decision is up to you it is after all your car.

Q: How fast is a 1991 Acura NSX stock?
Just bought one from my cousins friend and it obviously needs work knowing that its mileage is 99,000 nd the car is yellow need to fix it up a little but yeah how fast does it go and yeah i know about the car i just never really had much interest til now and im a junior in high school.
Yeah everybody keeps telling me it’s a bad choose as a first car due to it’s performance and knowing it’s so fast i might wanna race in it but i just wanna impress some girl at school.

A: never buy anything to impress a girl lmaoo..buy a cavalier guy haha thats pretty sad, what if u buy this car and shes like oh what an ugly car its spoiler looks kinda useless on a slow car…or she thinks ur a creeper.

Q: How’s Acura/Honda NSX….?
Do you know where to buy one?
Is there a lot in U.S.?
Is it a nice car?
Where can I get more information about it?
How much is worth it?
thanks

A: yeah its a good car but its expensive to maintain you can find them in the U.S.A. fairly easily they go from 80-100k depending on year, and any extras people may have had done if used. you can get info from honda motor company. and if you just want to find one seems to always be one for sail the the depont car registry.

Q: nissan skyline or acura/honda nsx?

A: It’s really going to depend on what you want in your choice.

Both cars are good platforms. But each has it’s advantages and disadvantages.

First, let’s look at the good points.

Skyline (R32-R34 chassis):
If you are talking GT-R, you have a car with an advanced AWD system, a 2.6L twin cam, twin turbo that puts down around 300+hp depending on which chassis you go with. It’s also got several sub-models to choose from, each with it’s own options. The suspension is firm, but not uncomfortable and keeps you planted where you need to be. When the AWD system kicks in, you go wherever the wheels are pointed, and you go there with authority. Braking is also nice, especially with the R33 and R34 as the GT-R came stock with Brembo brakes.

The non-GT-R models are equally good for what they have. The RB20/25DET engines are good, sporty and lively. The 20 is a very rev happy motor and the 25 has good torque and gets on boost quite well. The suspensions are a little soft for a sports type car, but they do a good job of keeping you on point when you are cruising around. The brakes aren’t as good as the GT-R, but they still do a decent job of stopping you when you need it.

NSX:

The NSX is a great car, although I can’t give you a whole lot of insight on one as I have never ridden in or driven one.
But, what I can give you is that with the NSX, having a mid-engine car can be a little tricky to learn how to drive. Having the extra weight in the back end makes the handling characteristics a little different than a normal FR layout car.
The engine is very well designed and built, and it’s pretty much been unchanged in its history. It’s built to be a high revving engine and can make tons of power with the right mods. It’s also a non-turbo engine, but can produce about the same amount of power as the GT-R, even in stock trim. It’s a V6 engine, so you know it’s going to rev quite smoothly.

If given the opportunity to own either one, it would be a hard choice. Being a GT-R owner, I would probably stay with the GT-R, but I wouldn’t count the NSX out of the equation.

I would suggest taking a drive in both cars and see which you like better.
Both have great aftermarket support here in Japan, and each car has its own following.

Q: Insurance for Acura NSX for 25year old male?
I’m looking forward to buy a Acura NSX first generation (preferably pre-1995). I am a male of 25 years of age with a great driving history (no speeding tickets or wrecks in 6+ years). I would like to hear from male audience in their mid 20’s to early 30’s and hear what they pay for theirs. Your age, car year, and if it’s full or liability only… many many thanks! :)

A: your driving record is impressive, but the insurance on the Acura NSX is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY HIGH

Acura NSX’s insurance keeps up with the Nissan GTR; you have to be at least earning over 70K by now (thats five digit #s). repair costs are extremely high. one hit and its over 4-6 grand of repairs…(because parts come from Japan)

You may not be able to afford such a car, I think you should be over 35 years with good savings….25 is too early for such cars, you should just consider something like the TL Type S.

Q: 1994 Mistubishi 3000gt [Base/Automatic/Stock] vs. 2007 Acura NSX [Manual/Exaust]?
Who do you think would win in a race? I dont want answeres regarding illegal street racing I just want opinions

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carquotes.sinfree.net

Q: Has Honda (including Acura) ever mass-produced a V-8 engine?
I can’t think of a Honda or Acura that has had a V-8. Even the Acura NSX had a V-6.

A: nope its all in-line 4 cylinder and v6’s for everyday cars that they make except for the new NSX =] v10

Q: What is your favorite Honda (or Acura) other than the S2000 and NSX?
Year – Make – TRIM
ex: 2001 Odyssee LX
i’ll go with the 06 TL
haha, right on, im not partial to 4 wheels!

A: the FIT is IT… Sport version in blue

2nd runner up: the Element, 06, in silver with blue composite

Q: why do some nsx cars have honda emblem and some have acura… i know there the same comp. but still.?
also acura is the luxury brand of honda… what does that mean how are they different

A: It’s essencially the same car, the Acura was a badge to help to distinguish the “luxury” brand of Honda here in the U.S. and it also was a loophole for bringing in more vehicles per manufacturer. People put the Honda badge because they want to appear “JDM”… honestly… there is no difference.

Q: what is a similiar looking car to a nsx?
is there any smaller and little cheaper version car that kinda looks similiar to the honda nsx/acura nsx

A: toyotaMR2
Nissan 300zx
Mazda rx-7
Honda Integra

Q: why doesn’t the acura TL come with dohc 3.5L like nsx?? also why don’t they come out with awd TL’s?
infiniti has awd sedans and lexus has awd sedans in the 30K price range
i know the RL is awd but it is 50k

A: Honda is in a position of catch-up which it is not used to. While GM has brought out all-wheel-drive to the Cadillac CTS, Saab 9-3, Infiniti to its G series, and Lexus to assorted models, Honda has tried to make do with Front Wheel Drive. While it has no plans to abandon the front wheel drive platform, it is investigating if the demand is there to warrant AWD on more cars outside of the RL. Design plans call for the TL to get it in 2009 unless market research determines that the demand is not there to support the product.

Honda is being put between a rock and a hard place. While trying to be the “performance” luxury brand, it has taken quite a hit recently with the competition passing it by with the AWD models while it fights on with front wheel drive. Acura sales for the year in the USA as of October are down 9.7%, and The TL sales are down 19.6% (from 60,064 to 48,493). However, the RL is down 47.7% for the year (10,698 to 5,284). Overall sales would be down more but the AWD Acura RDX is saving the division with sales up over 300%.

I would guess that Honda makes the go-ahead decision for 2009 because failing to do so they will have to abandon the “performance luxury” image they are trying to market. In other words, how can Honda claim performance by bringing out a new model with only Front Wheel Drive when all the competition has AWD? If even tiny Saab has done it, I don’t see how Honda will compete without it going forward.

Q: can a nsx engine fit in an acura rsx?
they both rwd

A: yes and no. Yes you CAN make it fit, as there has even been a CRX built with a NSX engine. Google “mahdavi motorsports CRNSX” However it cost well over $70,000 to fabricate everything. Now think about it, you can get a newer NSX for around $40,000. Is it really worth it?

Q: Can I put any engine into any car or does it matter somewhat?
I know you can put engines from one into another car. I have a 1998 Honda Accord EX V6 and I wanted to put in a much higher end engine into my car. I was thinking of either a ferrari, lambo, or a Acura NSX.

A: Anything is possible, just ask Jay Leno’s mechanics. Practical, that is another matter as well as legal, since to be street legal the car has to pass air pollution inspections. Then there is the matter of programing the vehicles computer in order to be compatible with engine. Best advise is to buy what you want/afford and just dream.
